What CityServ is

Software for running a local service business: customers, jobs, schedules, quotes, invoices, timesheets, pay and inventory. You use it to run your own business, and your business remains your own.

Approval is required, and it is our decision

Anyone may create an account and apply. Applying does not give you access. We review each application, telephone the number given, and decide whether to approve it.

We may approve, request more information, reject, or suspend a company. We are not obliged to give a reason, though we usually will. If you think a decision is wrong, write to info@birdlineapps.com.

Your account

  • You must give accurate information, and you must be authorised to act for the company you register.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account and for the people you invite into it.
  • Do not share sign-in details. Invite people properly instead — every person gets their own account.

Money: we record it, we do not move it

CityServ is not a payment processor. It has no gateway, no merchant account and no card form, and it cannot take, hold or transfer money. Your customers pay you the way they already do — cash, your own card machine, KNET, bank transfer, cheque, or a payment link from your own provider.

What CityServ does is record that a payment happened and work out what is still owed. Those records are entered by you or your staff. They are your books, and their accuracy is your responsibility.

Pay and commission figures are calculated for you as a convenience. CityServ is not payroll software: it does not calculate tax or deductions, and marking a pay record as paid records something you did elsewhere.

Messages: we compose, you send

CityServ sends nothing to your customers. It writes booking confirmations, tracking links and invoices for you to send yourself, through whatever channel you already use. Whether a customer receives something is between you and them.

Your data

The records you put into CityServ are yours. We store and process them so the service works — see the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to hold information about your own customers and staff.

What you may not do

  • Use CityServ for anything unlawful, or to hold data you have no right to hold.
  • Try to reach another company’s data, or any part of the platform you have not been given access to.
  • Resell or rebrand the service without written agreement.
  • Overload the service deliberately, or work around its limits.

Availability

We aim to keep CityServ running and will not promise it never stops. Maintenance, upstream provider failures and faults happen. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Ending it

You may stop using CityServ at any time and ask us to delete your company. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where we have good reason to believe the information given is false.

Liability

CityServ is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Birdline Apps is not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss arising from using it. This does not limit anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. They are governed by the laws of Kuwait.
